Almindsø, Silkeborg
Almindsø by Silkeborg is one of Denmark's cleanest lakes. It gets its water from the ground and there are no waste water discharge. In the spring the water is so clean that you can drink it. In July and August double edged lobelia flowers, which is only found in poor nutritive lakes. The following fish are found in the lake; Perch, pike, beam and roach.
Furthermore, the area offers superb walking paths and there are three beaches by the lake.
