Set in attractive countryside close to undulating hills, small streams, well-tendered fields and fairytale forests, this charming holiday home is located in As Vig, a child-friendly area of vacation cottages on the Juelsminde Peninsula. Just 250 metres from the holiday home is a good bathing beach boasting some of Denmark's cleanest bathing water, and from the house's terrace you can enjoy good views out to sea. Just a few kilometres away, the town of Juelsminde offers plenty for all the family. The town's broad choice of shops and restaurants, atmospheric and bustling harbour, and numerous galleries and open workshops means you will never be short of things to do. If you enjoy golf, Juelsminde is also home to an 18-hole course in a fantastic setting, high above the Juelsminde Bay, offering a unique panorama view. The nearby town of Horsens also offers plenty to do, and is home to many exciting shops and attractive old buildings. Attractions include the Danish Industrial Museum, which provides a living insight into 150 years of cultural and industrial history, and Horsens Art Museum, which houses modern art and paintings from Denmark's 'Golden Age'. Other attractions include the Prison Museum and the Horsens Museum, which details local history. Alternatively, enjoy the intimacy of one of the town's many charming side street cafes. A little closer to the holiday home is the Glud open air museum, home to 14 refurbished village buildings dating back to the 1700's and 1800's, complete with original furniture and utensils. In the summertime this museum also organises wood turning and weaving workshops and operates a working smithy. Also close by is the idyllic fishing and ferry harbour at Snaptun, from where the small islands of Endelave and Hjarnø can be reached by boat in a few minutes.
