Within Luster's extraordinary scenery lies the Jostedal glacier and the mountains called 'Jotunheimen', which means 'home of the trolls'. In Jotunheimen, which is one of Norway's largest national parks, lie several of Norway's highest mountains. Only 30 minutes drive to the starting point for popular walks to the peaks of Fanaråken and Galdhøpiggen. In addition to Jotunheimen Luster has in total ten marked hiking trails into the mountains.
